Why Do We Disobey God!
Five Reasons Why We Would Disobey God
No one can say that they are free from sin. Our mere thoughts and imaginations go a long way in finding us guilty of disobedience to our heavenly father. This cannot be avoided that is why our Lord and savior Jesus Christ died on the cross. However we cannot worry about what is beyond our control. What is of importance is the things we can control and how we can avoid becoming victims of disobedience. Below are five reasons why we may disobey God.
1.We cannot see God
Sometimes it is easy to believe that because we cannot see God or hear him then he isn't watching our actions. Sometimes we may even make assumptions that certain aspects of life do not concern God. We place God in a box and believe in certain situations that God is not a part of what we are doing. The question we all have to answer is if God is a spirit and resides in each of us then how can there be something or anything that we do in life that isn't privy to his presence. God is in everything and regardless of what we may believe is aware of all our thoughts and deeds. There is no sin in the world that goes unseen or unheard before God.

2. Presumptuous sin
Sometimes we put words of our imagination before others and believe it is God speaking through us. We say we are speaking in place of God to influence others for our own personal requests. Whether our intentions are for all the right reasons based on our worldly wisdom or otherwise we should not use God's name in vain. God is in control of the greater truth and we aren't. We should know that there is a responsibility that comes with all our actions. If they are carried out without righteousness for worldly desires then this is disobedience.

3. Putting God to tests
There are times when we sin deliberately to see what would happen. We act in this manner believing that something drastic would happen and God will take out his wrath upon us. The thing to remember is God is a spirit and his actions are immeasurable before our eyes. The time and place for his deeds do not depend upon us. We should not expect him to punish us as we would punish each other or demonstrate his strength in the same manner that we do to others. God works in his own time and by his own methods. God does not judge us for every action we do. God judges our hearts and the intentions we have. This is incomprehensible to us and we cannot put him to tests to see how this works.

4. Rebellion against authority
On some occasions we rebel against those in authority, elected members of Church or congregation by disobeying doctrine because we do not agree with their beliefs. The words of the Holy Bible do not change because some people instigate them in one way as opposed to others. Scripture is there for all of us to follow. We should not rebel against God because we come from a background that restricted us because of a particular doctrine. Our paths in life are there for us to follow individually. We have the right to choice and for this reason God places no stone on our heads to follow his path based on the influence of one person. We all have access to scripture and if we ask God willingly then he would show his word to us. Disobeying God because we are trying to get back at people in authority counts for nothing but self-destruction.

5. Children of disobedience
In these circumstances we can choose to follow the path of righteousness or otherwise. No man is condemned from the day of his birth because Christ died on the cross to free us from our sins. This means for whatever wrong we have done we still have a chance to make things right if we go before God and repent. If we choose the wrong path in life then it is because we have chosen this and we cannot put this blame on anyone but ourselves. No one is to blame but us if we decide to become children of disobedience before God.
